This Trip is for You!

Whether you’ve supported African Christian College for decades or you’re just discovering us for the first time — this trip was made for you!

Come worship with our students, tour our macadamia orchards during harvest season, celebrate 60 years of God’s faithfulness, and enjoy a world-class safari in Kruger National Park.

We’ll handle the details. You just show up.

60 years of Equipping Christian Leaders

Since 1967, hundreds of students from across Africa have studied on our campus in the Kingdom of Eswatini and returned home as well-equipped leaders of integrity. Our students work for their tuition and serve Africa in churches, communities, and ministries throughout Africa.

Formerly known as Manzini Bible School, African Christian College also operates the Tree of Life Project, home to 14,000 macadamia nut trees.

In 2027, we turn 60. We want you here to celebrate with us.

One Trip. Four Experiences.

Wonders of Worship (WOW) Conference

At WOW, Christians gather from across the region for teaching, worship, and fellowship rooted in Scripture. You won’t just observe . . . you’ll worship alongside brothers and sisters and be inspired in your faith. This is the heart of the trip.

Macadamia Orchards at Harvest

African Christian College operates Tree of Life, a working macadamia farm that helps sustain us financially. April is harvest season — the orchards are full, the work is active, and the connection between our farm and mission is visible and tangible. There’s nothing quite like it.

Mealtime in diverse community

Campus, Students, & 60th Celebration

African Christian College turns 60 in 2027 — and this trip is the celebration. Walk the campus, share meals with students, and hear from the men and women being equipped to lead Africa’s churches. This is where prayers and gifts become faces and stories. There’s nothing quite like it.

Safari & Cultural Experiences

The trip includes a three-night safari in Kruger, one of Africa’s most celebrated safari experiences. Plus, cultural experiences and shopping in Eswatini. This is the Africa you’ve imagined: guided, safe, and extraordinary.

You’re in Good Hands

Brad & Rachael Carter have lived and raised their family on the African Christian College campus over the past 15 years. They know this place, these people, and this trip intimately.

They personally host and coordinate every aspect of your experience. You won’t be handed off to a tour operator — you’ll travel with people who love the college, love Eswatini, and want your experience to be extraordinary.

QUESTIONS? EMAIL BRAD

Is Africa Safe?

Let’s address the elephant in the room bush

We hear this question often, and we respect it. Here’s what we know after over a decade of living and working in Eswatini…

Eswatini is a small, politically stable kingdom with a low crime rate relative to the region. African Christian College’s campus has operated safely for 60 years. Our staff and students live here. Our families are here. We would not invite you somewhere we would not bring our own loved ones.

Kruger National Park is one of the most visited destinations in Africa, with world-class facilities and professional rangers. Kruger Shalati is a premium, secure safari experience — not roughing it.

Practical realities:

  • Malaria risk on campus: none. Kruger carries limited risk, especially in April. We’ll walk you through precautions.
  • Water is clean and drinkable throughout your stay. Bottled water is also available.
  • Medical: quality medical facilities accessible throughout the trip.
  • Our team has managed group travel in this region for years and knows every detail of keeping guests safe and comfortable.

Planning travel in Africa can be difficult because online information can be inaccurate or misleading and booking online is challenging, especially when you’ve never been before. That’s why we take care of the details . . . you just book your flights.

In this all-inclusive, group travel experience, we provide:

  • All accommodation throughout trip
  • All meals from arrival to departure
  • All ground transportation
  • WOW Conference registration
  • Campus & orchards tours
  • Three-night safari with game drives
  • Experienced guides
  • Help purchasing airline tickets (if needed)
  • Currency exchange assistance on arrival
  • Pre-trip guidance on passports, vaccinations, and packing

You’ll be in good hands from the moment you land to the moment you depart.

Common Questions

US citizens do not need a visa for short stays in Eswatini or South Africa. We’ll confirm requirements for other nationalities.

No vaccinations or immunizations are required. The CDC provides helpful guidance, and you may consult your physician.

This is not a strenuous trip. Activities involve walking on relatively even, but unpaved surfaces. Safari drives are seated in open vehicles. Let’s discuss any mobility concerns you have and see what options are available.

Absolutely. Many travelers add days in Cape Town, Europe, or elsewhere. Brad can help you think through options and ideas.

A 25% deposit holds your spot. Full refund is available until January 15, 2027. After the full payment is due, cancellation policies with our booking agreements limit our ability to refund.

Yes — and we’d love that. Contact Brad directly to discuss group reservations for this event, or for other dates to visit.

Our individual price is for non-sharing accommodation. Friends willing to share are welcome to travel as a couple. However, there may be limited privacy in the safari accommodation.

We have an alternative safari experience available for the April 2027 event, if we have enough interest. The Kruger experience will be less luxurious, but still safe and enjoyable. The dates for this trip would be April 16-26, 2027. This group will begin on safari and end with the campus visit and WOW Conference. If you’re interested, please email Brad or note your interest on the Reservation Form.

This trip is not a hunting safari. We offer an alternative trip for our hunters. This includes a three-day hunting trip with an ACC-connected, experienced guide. All meat goes to local communities and churches in need. If you’re interested in the hunting experience, email Brad or note this interest in the Reservation Form.
