In addition to class and work opportunities on campus, students at African Christian College are involved in additional activities providing hands-on learning. Students actively serve with congregations throughout Swaziland as preachers, teachers, and evangelists. They teach, play, and distribute meals in the nearest village to orphans each week.
In 2010, students and faculty helped plant a church in Embekelweni. The people of this village quickly built a homemade church and began providing meals to orphans in their area without outside financial support. In 2012, students worked to evangelize and plant a church in Nhlambeni, another area of Swaziland. This year, they continue planting other churches in nearby villages.
