Labyrinth

Welcome to our
Prayer Labyrinth

A labyrinth is a simple pathway to be walked that provides an opportunity to reflect on your spiritual journey.

Labyrinths are spiritual tools used for centuries by believers across the world.

A labyrinth experience offers quiet moments of meditation and reflection. Many find connection with God and experience relief, healing, freedom, forgiveness, or any number of responses.

It is designed as a pathway

The path draws you into the center and then back out again. It is often considered a metaphor for your spiritual journey, and can be used in many ways for prayer, meditation, and time alone with God.

Reflect and focus on your walk with God

Genesis design collections have everything you need to design beautiful block-powered websites with just a few clicks.

A Starter’s Guide to the Labyrinth

Our labyrinth has two entrances/exits and four sections of pathway with a meditation cove in each.

Two sections lead to the centre, two away from the centre.

  1. Come with a desire to reflect on your walk with God
Take a deep breath and let it out. (You may want to do this more than once!)

Consider what is on your heart: Do you have a burden to lay down? Do you have a special prayer for your life? Do you simply want to spend time with your Creator?

Choose one thought, question, or desire to focus on as you experience the Labyrinth.
  2. Step into the Labyrinth
Slowly and thoughtfully take each step toward the Center.

Depending on your chosen focus, you may want to repeat a breath prayer as you take each step.

Some familiar ones include: Show me the way, Lord; Lord, hear my prayer; Come, Holy Spirit, Come; I am Your beloved child.
  3. At the Centre, spend a few moments connecting with God
Stay as long as you desire.

Listen. Trust. Receive guidance or insights from God.
  4. Step from the Centre into the path
As you head toward the exit, consider what God had done.

Express thanks and praise as you prepare to re-enter your everyday life.
  5. Pause before you exit
Remember what you have experienced here as you step back into the world.

Treasure and nurture the quiet mind of the Labyrinth. Look for ways to return to this quiet mind in your everyday life.
