African Christian College is hiring a Student Success & Library Coordinator to guide our efforts of supporting students on their academic journey and ensuring access to resources through our library services.

As part of our Academic Team, the Student Success & Library Coordinator manages our Student Success Centre and the Lyle Harms Library at African Christian College. This position may be part-time, half-time, or full-time, depending on resources, qualifications, and approved plans.
This position is responsible for ensuring students have access to appropriate resources and personal support for academic success. This position works with the Academic Team to provide one-on-one academic tutoring and workshop-style programming on academic research, writing, public speaking, citations, and good study habits (such as time management, note taking, and reading comprehension).
The Lyle Harms Library at African Christian College is Eswatini’s premier theological library with over 12,000 volumes on the shelves in addition to digital access to millions of academic books and articles in online databases . . . plus a large children’s library for campus families. The Student Success & Library Coordinator manages the library by implementing best practices for library services and collection management.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in education and/or library services with a degree (preferably in library science, theology, or similar). They must be quality conscious, detail-oriented, effective English communicators (verbal and written), and able to solve problems, manage others, and be a team player. They should be familiar with academic research & writing and library services.
The successful candidate must be willing to join a Christian work environment and community. Preference is given to candidates who are active members of the Church of Christ.
Remuneration is based on bench-marked scales, experience, education, and role. African Christian College has a very low employee turnover rate reflecting our commitment to growth and care of our team and community.
