Though Covid19 challenged their progress toward success, twenty-two students from African Christian College celebrated their success at our 2020 Graduation ceremony on Saturday, 12 December.
These new graduates join over 100 alumni who have earned Bachelor of Theology degrees from African Christian College since 2010. These degrees are recognised by the Association for Christian Theological Education in Africa (ACTEA) as well as the Eswatini Ministry of Higher Education and Training. In fact, African Christian College is among only three private institutions of higher learning in Eswatini that have been fully recognised by the Eswatini Higher Education Council — the highest recognition it currently offers.
These graduates have returned to their homes in Eswatini, South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Kenya, and Uganda ready to be leaders of change and integrity in their families, churches, and communities.
They’ve been telling their individual stories here on our blog and we’ll continue sharing those with you in the coming weeks.
But know this, these students — now among the 5% of African youth who are able to attain higher education — love God, love others, and want to make a difference in God’s kingdom and communities across the continent.
And we believe they will.
