When I came to African Christian College I wanted to study the word of God in a way that when I stand before people, they could feel the presence of God. I came with a quest and thirst for knowledge to go back to my country to rescue the people who are lost in darkness. I expected the hunger and thirst that was in me to be satiated, to be developed into that servant well equipped like a soldier ready for war. Standing at the end of my three year study, I want to safely say that I came with little to nothing, but now I am leaving this place with so much in my hands.
I have been well fed by African Christian College in terms of the knowledge. I have not only been spiritually fed, but I have also been academically equipped. When I came here I had no idea on how to write an academic paper, but I have been taught how to do that, and more on academic writing. I can now write a paper that could be read among other scholars, and that is a treasure I got from African Christian College.
Not only was I impacted spiritually and academically, I was also equipped with personal resourcefulness skills. I have learnt how to become an independent person who runs his daily affairs with God at the forefront. So while ministering to God’s people, I will be able to support myself and the ministry through the skills that I have acquired from African Christian College. Overall, what I have acquired from this place is just priceless. I want to thank God for using this beautiful people to impact our lives the way they do. My life is no longer the same, for I have been changed, my life has found its meaning and purpose in Christ through the study of his Word.
