When I came to African Christian College (ACC) I was very sceptical about the place. It was a big challenge for me to leave my own country. What made me anxious was that I was going to a new country and had to adapt to a new culture. This anxiety was caused by the fact that I had a wife and four children to think of and how I was going take care of them, including school. In all that, I put my heart at ease and decided to come and learn about God.
The worries I had were put to rest by the incredible support and love I received in the ACC community this past three years. I have never had to stress about how I was going to feed my children because of the numerous blessings we have here. For all that we have received as grace, I give thanks to God and to the school for taking care of my family and I.
I have to admit that the classes were challenging. However, the lecturers were really efficient and effective in doing their job. Even though it was hard, I am grateful because they challenged me to think for myself. The learning has enhanced my understanding of the Bible, the world, and business. The jobs which I did out of class also broadened my knowledge and skills. As of now, I have learnt a lot about gardening and fisheries.
A great advantage of being at African Christian College is that once you graduate you will be able to be self-sufficient in order to sustain yourself and your family. I urge everyone who wants to come and apply that this is the right place for you. You will be equipped and transformed to follow Jesus faithfully and be a good servant wherever you go.
