The main reason of coming to African Christian College was to be equipped with leadership skills and Bible knowledge in order to be a more useful civil servant in the republic of Zambia and the man God needs to lead people and preach the gospel.
Now that I am graduating from the school, my experience has impacted the way I think about life and Christianity. I have learned many skills and have wide knowledge of God and leadership which pleases God. This experience has made me to desire the kind of leadership that Jesus demonstrated which is characterized by love, compassion, and humility, just to mention a few.
Through this experience, I strongly believe that I achieved what I wanted when I decided to apply for the Bachelor of Theology at African Christian College. I am now a better leader because of the powerful courses that we have learned. I am planning to help other people with the knowledge I have acquired in my teaching field back home in Zambia, because I have noticed many people are in need of this information for the success of their churches, families, and their businesses.
Part of my expectation when I came in 2017 was to become a dedicated leader and God’s servant for the benefit of the people and the kingdom of God. When looked at my country, particularly in rural areas, I realised that they needed someone who is equipped to pastor because most of the leaders in their churches are not trained in that regard. I know that I have been prepared for this task through the relevant courses offered at ACC.
Now that I have seen the benefit of being part of the ACC community, my plea to my fellow Africans is that we should work together and transform the continent for the better. African Christian College is the place for learning how to transform our communities because of the great leadership, counselling, and ministry courses the school offers.
