Expanding the Kingdom Through Charity: Ngonidzashe Masvaya

My name is Ngonidzashe Masvaya. I was born in 1991 in Masvaya village (Masvingo). I am the eldest son in a family of eight. My father and mother are full time preachers in Church of Christ, they are ministering in Masvingo (Zimbabwe. I am happily married to Agnes and we are blessed with a son who is named Passion. I completed my advanced level in 2009. I got a job in 2010, and I worked in O.K Masvingo supermarket as a merchandiser. Furthermore I enrolled with Mutare School of Preaching and I studied from 2011 to 2013, when I graduated with a diploma in Theology. Opportunity favored me in 2014 to work as a minister for Church of Christ Munamba in Mrehwa from 2014 to 2017.

I had to quit my job last year after deciding that coming to African Christian College would be very beneficial to me and the ministry. My chief aim is to be empowered for competency in the Lord’s vineyard. I am expecting to be multi-skilled through the priceless knowledge which is offered by the college. I want to be an oasis of knowledge in my community as well as in my home country in order to equip others for service in God’s kingdom.

Furthermore, in the future if the Lord permits, I wish to spend my time and resources doing charity work. My vision is to uplift the face of the church through responding to the plights of the marginalised, for instance the disabled, blind, deaf and the poor, through the provision of friendly educational facilities and through providing food for those who are in need. I believe that through doing this I will be expanding the kingdom of God to those people and places.
