This post is part of a series of posts from our graduating third year students. Today’s post is from Ndumiso Frantic Dlamini from the Kingdom of Swaziland. On 29 November 2014, he will be graduating with his Bachelor of Theology degree from African Christian College with a major in Leadership.
Before I came to ACC my perception about the College was lower than what I found. When I came here I thought I will just get leadership skills. However, on the ground that is not the only thing.
ACC teaches servanthood both theoretical and, most importantly, practical. I got to be shaped in being a servant.
I got the opportunity to associate with different people who influenced my changed worldview. I am now able to think outside the box. I have grown in wisdom, in relationships, and in many other ways. My beliefs and worldviews got to be challenged by the courses I have taken.
I have been transformed to be the leader I have been dreaming to be. I now know that whatever I do it should be to the glory of God.
I left my community in a situation that need answers to problems. As from now, I am confident that I have been shaped to be that leader who will lead change in my community, country, and the world. It is not about having all the answers, but with humility I will be able to use the knowledge, tools, ideas that I acquired to lead change in my community.
Thanks be to ACC for being the mother of hope for me. I am now ready to go and deliver practically what I acquired. May God bless ACC!!!
