This post is part of a series of posts from our graduating third year students. Today’s post is from Stephen Misiko from Kenya. On 29 November 2014, he graduated with his Bachelor of Theology degree from African Christian College with a major in Counselling.
I really appreciate the rigorous training that takes place at African Christian College. The knowledge gained is vital for my personal relationship with God and self-growth.
It is at African Christian College where I learned to preach. I had not preached or even led the Lord’s Supper in my life. God is great!
I have learned to humble myself and be what God expects of me. My experience at African Christian College has been so great! Being the editor of the ACC News Bulletin was fun and rewarding.
Now that I am leaving African Christian College, I anticipate to do what God has been preparing for me. As a Godly leader and counsellor, my passion is to work with people in various aspects of life for instance in churches, schools, and community. God willing, I plan to do Masters in counselling or psychology in order to effectively sharpen my skills for the work of God.
