Surrounding Myself with Christians

Meet our first years! In the first few weeks of 2013, our first year students had a class assignment in Computer Skills to type a personal introduction and tell “Why am I at African Christian College?” In this series, you get to meet the students in their own words…

Tjengisile
Tjengisile Banda, Swaziland

My name is Tjengisile Nontobeko Banda. Today, I am 17 years, 8 months, and 25 days old. I was born on 9 May 1995. I am a Swazi by nationality. I reside in Matsapha, Mahlabatsini. I was born in a family of four and was raised by a single parent.

I went to Elulakeni Pre-Primary School from 2000-2007. From 2008-2012 I went to Masundvwini National High School and now I am in African Christian College to pursue a degree in counselling.

The reason why I came to African Christian College:

I wanted to experience my freedom and to grow spiritually in my Christian life by surrounding myself with Christians.
