African Christian College is really a nice place for one to acquire knowledge, and as the motto states that “Equipping students for excellent service in His Kingdom.” It is true.
When I came to African Christian College in 2012, I never knew how to speak in public, I had no any idea about writing a sermon, and I never knew how to counsel someone.
My coming to ACC has really changed my life from the old Isaac to the new Isaac. I was trained, shaped, and sharpened very well. This has helped to open my mind and think wide.
Indeed this has brought an everlasting touch in my life.
I just want to thank Brother Kurt Platt for the communication skills that he taught me at the beginning of the year 2012. This really helped in my ways of communication when am in the public, and how to speak confidently.
I also thank Brother Lynn Rhodes who taught me how to write and organize sermons in the proper way directing each point that I make to the chosen topic. This has helped me in such a way that I am now able to write nice sermons, and deliver nice powerful messages to the people as I preach in different places.
I also thank President Brad Carter for the leadership skills (Change Leadership) that he taught me. During my time in class, President Brad really motivated to be a great leader wherever I go, because of the leadership skills he was imparting in me. This has really help in opening up my minds, and thinking wide as a leader to be, making proper decisions, having a vision and laying strategies. I can now put these skills into practice.
I will not also forget to thank Brother Fielden and Sister Janet Allison for the counseling skills that they have taught me, especially Biblical counseling, marriage and family counseling, and the different types of therapies. This has really helped in changing my life by being rooted and grounded in Christ Jesus, seeking to do God’s will in my life and being dedicated to serve Him as I also counsel other people. I have now developed a heart of helping other people in problems, and finding solutions.
Finally, I would like to thank the entire African Christian College family together with the board members for having accepted to come and acquire knowledge through studying God’s word. I am now ready to go out and serving His world.
(2 Corinthians 13: 14): “ May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”
